Será que me estão a dar um toque?... / Are they giving me a hint?...

Quando fui na terça-feira substituir uma luz de stop no meu carro os senhores tomaram a liberdade de me dar um papelinho com dois orçamentos para pneus...será que me estão a tentar dizer alguma coisa??? Eu já sabia que tinha que trocar os pneus, mas assim...pronto, lá fui eu deixar o popó para ser calçado...

On tuesday I went to replace my stop light in my car, and the guys there took the liberty to give me a little piece of paper with 2 budgets for tires...are they trying to tell me something??? I know I should already have exchanged my tires but now....ok, today I went there and left my ride to get some new shoes...

Li na ultima revista Saúde que estão a testar um procedimento para tornar os olhos castanhos em azuis de forma permanente com laser....a sério??? Apesar de consistir em destruir a melanina que dá a tonalidade castanha e que não existe nos olhos azuis e verdes e de poder causar danos a longo prazo na pupila uma vez que lhe está a retirar a protecção NATURAL contra a claridade, os investigadores estão animados e aguardam as autorizações médicas para que este procedimento possar ser efectuado legalmente... Eu sei que muitas pessoas colocam em risco a sua saúde com fins estéticos, mas acho que se os ditos "investigadores" pararem de dedicar tempo a isto e se dedicarem a descobrir curas e vacinas para os reais problemas de saúde estaríamos a tornar este mundo um pouco melhor não acham?

I've read in the latest Saúde magazine that they are testing a procedure to turn brown eyes in blue for good with laser... seriously??? Although it consists in destroying the melanine that gives the colour brown and that does not exist in blue and green eyes and can cause damage on the long run to the pupil because they are taking the NATURAL proteccion the eye has against clarity, the researchers are excited and are waiting for medical clearence for this procedure to be done in a legal manner.... I know that a lot of people place their health at risk for estetic purposes, but I think that if the "researchers" stopped devoting their time to these matters and start devoting more time to find cure and vaccines for real health problems we would be making a better world to live in don't you think so?

Verniz gel Sensationail ... / Gel polish Sensationail...

Já sabem da minha luta constante com as unhas e como gostaria que ficassem bonitas por mais tempo. Já coloquei unhas de gel mais do que uma vez e há duas coisas que me desagradam: as unhas ficam mais compridas do que gosto e se as limar não fica muito bem, e para o serviço ficar bonito e como deve de ser sair caro, porque de todos os locais onde experimentei só gostei realmente de um e mesmo aí dependia de quem mas fazia.
Acho que agora posso dizer que estou satisfeita com o que encontrei. Descobri o sensationail através de uma vlogger que sigo e resolvi experimentar, é verniz gel para aplicar em casa, dura até 2 semanas e as unhas ficam sempre brilhantes. O kit inicial é puxadito mas tem um forninho com lampada LED que é muito bom. O kit é composto pelo forno LED, pelo Primer, pela Base e Top coat, o Cleaner, um pau para as cutículas, uma lima e um verniz de cor.

You know about my constant struggle with my nails and how I would like them to stay looking good for longer. I've had gel nails more than once and there are two things I really don't like: the nails get longer than I like them to be and filling them doesn't look good, and for the job to be well done and pretty you have to pay good money, of all the places I've tried I really only liked one and even then it depended on the person that made them.
I think now I can say that I'm pleased with what I've found. I found out about Sensationail through a vlogger that I follow and thought I would give it a try, it's gel polish to apply at home and it lastsup to 2 weeks and the nails always have that shine to them. The starter kit is a bit pricey btu it has a Led oven that's really good. The kit comes with a LED lamp, a primer, base and top coat, a cleaner, a stick for your cuticules, a file and color gel polish.

Há três cores à escolha no kit inicial, mas a marca tem uma vasta selecção de cores. A ferramente metálica é vendida à parte, é para retirar o verniz. apesar de existirem kits para a remoção do verniz, eu pesquisei no youtube e em vez de comprar o kit de remoção, faço com papel de aluminio e acetona pura seguindo os mesmos passos que fica muito mais em conta. É preciso ter cuidado com a remoção para não danificar a unha, mas o verniz sai bem e a unha não fica enfraquecida porque quando o colocamos apenas limamos ligeiramente a superficie da unha para ajudar a aderência. A minha cor inicial foi o Raspberry Wine.

There are 3 colours to choose from in the starter kit, but the brand has a wide range of colours. The metal piece is bought separatly to remove the polish, and even though there are removal kits to buy, I've looked on youtube and itnstead of buying them I do it with tin foil and pure acetone followuing the same steps and it'sa lot cheaper. You have to be careful when removing the nail polish not to damagem the nail, but the nail polish comes off wuite nicely and it doens't weaken the nail because you only fille it a little bit to help it stay on better. My initial colour was Raspberry Wine.

Seria pedir muito que quando vão a curtir o vosso som que o façam de janela fechada? Estar entre dois carros com música aos altos berros, de um lado techno e de outro folclore, é no mínimo agonizante. Disfrutai da vossa musica com os vidros fechados por favor...os meus ouvidos ( e o cérebro) agradecem...

Is it too much to ask that when you're digging your sound you do it with the window closed? Being between two cars with very loud music, in one side with techno and the other folclore, is agonizing to say the least. Enjoy your music with your windows closed please.....my ears (and brain) really would appreciate it...

As maravilhas de vender no OLX ... / The wonders of selling in OLX

Já fiz algumas vendas no olx e uma ou duas compras e reparei que quando vendo coisas para pessoas crescidas, como secadores de roupa ou assim, o negócio corre sem problemas, agora quando coloco os jogos que os meus sobrinhos já não jogam é que a coisa começa a descambar...
Não sei se será só a mim que acontecem estas coisas até porque eu tenho tendência para atrair gente.....menos normal....
Enviam-me mensagem a pedir para baixar o preço para menos de metade (e já falamos em coisas de 6 euros) combinam e descombinam à ultima hora, dizem-me que já não podem comprar porque gastaram o dinheiro noutras coisas. Querem a minha morada à força, dizem que querem o jogo e depois não dizem mais nada...fazem perguntas estranhas que não vou colocar aqui....é o que dá tentar ajudar os miúdos a juntarem uns euritos para as coisas deles...

I've made some sales in OLX and one or two purchases and noticed that qhen I'm selling stuff for adults, like dryers or such, the business gos very well, now when I 'm selling games that my nephews aren't playing anymore is when it all goes wrong....
I don't know if it's just me, because I do have a tendency to attract people that are....less normal...
They send me messages asking to reduce the price to less than hal (and we're talking about things like 6 euros) they arrange the meeting and then cancel at the last minute, they say they can't buy that anymore because they've spent the money somewhere else. Want my address at any cost, say that they want the game and never reply to my messages....make all kind of weird questions that I'm not even goin to put here...that's what I get for helping the kids to make some money for their stuff....
